Lafayette 3970 and St. Michael Support Zelie’s Home
Event chair and PGK Matt Mayher organized the Zelie’s Home fundraiser at St. Michael Parish which took place at all the weekend masses of May 6th and 7th. Fathers Jordan and Haren graciously allowed PGK Mayher to speak after communion at all the masses. St. Michael staff collected and counted all donations to Zelie’s Home that were put into the parish collection baskets during the month of May. On June 28th, GK Randy Katona and Chaplain Father John Mullee presented Executive Director Erin Hathaway with donations totaling $4515. Supreme Knights of Columbus will match an additional $400. Thank you to the staff and parishioners of St. Michael, PGK Mayher, and brother Knights that manned the church doors at the four weekend masses in May. This successful event was the result of a wonderful team effort.
