I’d like to thank Chairman Brother Tom Oden for organizing another successful corn roast on September 18. Thanks, too, to the Brothers and others who helped out decorating, setting up, and with cleaning up afterwards. Donations of desserts and beer added to the delicious menu of roasted fresh corn on the cob, hamburgers and hot dogs, all grilled to perfection. An added treat this year was being serenaded by a live German polka band, NorthCoast Mix, attired in authentic lederhosen. Another memorable event is in the books.
